Mirroring neurons control our individual and group behavior. Humans think of themselves as complex, but we behave like fish swimming in a school. Our schools function literally that way! We can’t help but conform, no matter how hip we think we are. Is self-determination a conceit? We should, at least, be aware of this, and explore structures such as mirroring neurons and their effect.
